Filip Lutzky graduated from Mendel University’s Viticulture and Winemaking program, mentored by Ing. Jiří Kopeček of the Valtice Wine Academy. With internships in France, New Zealand, and Chile, he gained diverse experience. He joined Obelisk Winery under Ing. František Fabičovic, starting as a project consultant and progressing to head winemaker.
Since 2017, he’s been an oenologist and viticulturist at Obelisk Winery, and he’s also been the head winemaker since 2022. He lectures at the Valtice Wine Academy, holds WSET level 3 certification, and judges wine competitions according to ČSN EN ISO 8586 standards.
