Extra-curricular activities are an integral part of how ISP fulfills its mission to Inspire, Engage and Inspire learners. The school offers a range of activities based on sports, performing & visual arts, modern languages and much more.
Our program offers a comprehensive range of opportunities and experiences outside the school curriculum that encourage and enhance the learning experience and growth of the individual.
ISP is a member of the Central Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA); students may represent the school and work collaboratively with other CEESA members in sports tournaments and arts festivals hosted by fellow CEESA schools throughout the region.
Middle and High School students are given the opportunity to represent the school in Athletics in the International School Sports Association of Prague (ISSAP).
In the Elementary School, we offer an array of opportunities which allow students to pursue passions ranging from Bollywood dancing to modern languages, and touch rugby to Yoga. These options merely introduce the diversity of options offered from Grade 1 to Grade 5, as clubs that run over three seasons throughout the school year.
In the Middle School, students can choose from a rich and varied selection of Activities. Students may play various seasonal sports, but can also be involved in various activities (such as ‘Roots and Shoots’, an environmental club inspired by a recent visit to ISP of Jane Goodall). Choices also include jazz, video production, and kung fu.
Upper School students have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of performing arts events and athletic activities throughout the year. They can gain life-changing experiences through completing the International Award (previously Duke of Edinburgh Award) and being a member of the National Honor Society or the Model United Nations Club.
In addition to numerous sports clubs, Upper School students can also explore passions as varied as the Robotics programme, wall climbing, and the Amnesty International Club.
