JUNIOR ADVANCEMENT ASSOCIATE (full time / part time)

General description:

Supports the critical work of the Advancement team in strengthening relationships with the ISP community. The incumbent will work closely with the Advancement Director to provide support for the infrastructure and programmes that encourage and allow the maximum level of engagement with our community of parents and alumni.

Key responsibilities:

  • Roll out and manage new engagement programs, including alumni networking opportunities, opportunities for alumni to speak at the school, internship and mentorship programme, reunion program.
  • Manages all data and application softwares used by the Advancement team, including constituent record management, gift processing, reporting and data mining, and ongoing optimization of the software system.
  • Manages special Advancement development projects, as assigned.

Knowledge, skills and dispositions required:

  • Fluency and strong written communication skills in English;
  • Advanced computer skills required (including familiarity with at least one CRM and report writing application software);
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, has a good eye for detail and willingness to learn and to keep up to date with developments in technology;
  • Ability to engage and develop strong working relationships with various constituencies;
  • Team player with outstanding listening, analytical and presentation skills; and flexibility and ability to handle requests from multiple sources each having their own timelines and constraints;
  • Ability to work independently and entrepreneurially;
  • Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and evenings at various events.

Education and Training required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred);
  • Proven experience in working and/or studying in an international environment.
