TEDxYouth@ISP

One of the most popular and impactful offerings in Upper School is the TEDxYouth@ISP club. For the past nine years, ISP has been hosting this prestigious TEDx event, with our talks now reaching over 1 million combined online views!

TED’s mission is to foster, research, and discover ideas worth spreading, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. As offshoots of the globally recognised TED Conference, TEDx events allow institutions like ISP to create licensed, self-organised events that bring local and global communities together in the spirit of idea-sharing.

The entire TEDxYouth@ISP event is created by, and features, our Upper School students and select guests. ISP students not only serve as speakers but also take on essential roles behind the scenes. They act as technical supervisors, ensuring speakers are equipped with microphones and other necessary equipment. Our IBDP Film students make up the TEDxYouth film crew, responsible for filming and editing each talk. Additionally, they coach the speakers, providing invaluable support throughout their preparation and delivery process.

TEDxYouth@ISP is more than just a platform for sharing ideas; it is a powerful learning experience that empowers our students to become confident communicators, effective leaders, and thoughtful global citizens.
