Health and Wellbeing

Care for the Community

ISP’s first priority is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our students and the entire ISP community.

All ISP employees receive ongoing child protection and first aid training and are subject to police background checks.

Health Office

Fully qualified nurses are available in our school’s health office at all times of the school day to offer expert care and support for our community.

The ISP Health Office provides essential health services and assistance to ensure the wellbeing of all ISP students, faculty, and staff.

Counselling Services

At ISP, we prioritise the holistic development of our students, recognising that their growth extends beyond academics.

To provide comprehensive support, we have a committed team of counsellors across all school levels, including a Psychologist and Wellbeing Coordinator. This coordinator collaborates with school counsellors and ISP nurses to oversee mental health programmes across the school and ensure students receive the academic support they need.

  • We have several learning support counsellors at every school section who offer academic guidance and support for students.  The learning support counsellors often collaborate with the classroom teachers to provide the support that will best serve students.  To read more about our Learning Support team, please visit Student Support

  • Our wellbeing counsellors focus on the social and emotional wellbeing of our students, providing a safe space for them to discuss and address any challenges they may be facing.

The ISP has a rigorous Child Protection Policy, which is strictly adhered to by all faculty and staff members.

ISP’s Child Protection Policy is based on the work of the International Task Force on Child Protection, local Czech laws relating to child safety, and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

As a member of the Central and Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA), ISP is a signatory to the CEESA Safeguarding and Child Protection Statement. Any allegations of unsafe or harmful conduct will be immediately addressed by the ISP Safeguarding team.
