Where the ISP Falcons soar
The ISP Athletic Programme offers Middle and Upper School athletes more than just a place to compete; it's a platform for cultivating teamwork, fostering personal development, and instilling moral character.
At ISP, school spirit soars high with the Falcon as our proud mascot, uniting students and faculty alike in a shared sense of pride and camaraderie. Our spirited pep rallies serve as vibrant celebrations, igniting enthusiasm and rallying support for our teams as they take flight on the field, court, or trail.
From basketball and football to volleyball, swimming, cross country, and beyond, our student-athletes receive dedicated support from coaches and educators. They are equipped with both the skills and mindset necessary not only for success in their sport but also for the development of important life skills, ensuring they enjoy a fulfilling athletic experience.
ISP is a member of the Sports Council of International Schools (SCIS), as well as the Central Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA). Students may represent the school and work collaboratively with other CEESA/SCIS members in sports tournaments and activities festivals throughout the region.
Middle and Upper School students are also given the opportunity to represent the school in Athletics in the International School Sports Association of Prague (ISSAP).

In this edition of our Student Journalism series, MYP Journalism Elective students Julia and Rebeca dive into the story behind Hoops for Hope, a student-led 3x3 basketball tournament held at ISP last March. They explore the event’s success in raising funds for cancer patients and the plans to improve the tournament for the 2024/2025 school year.

ISP has entered a new era of sports coverage with the addition of state-of-the-art video equipment. This new technology allows us to live-stream our athletic events to ISP’s Vimeo channel, giving fans and spectators real-time access to Falcons games no matter where they are.
