Congratulations to Grade 10 students, Niki and Marketa, for launching the Upper School Business Club’s first ever Business Seminar!

The initial idea behind the Business Seminar project was to create a student-led platform which would bring real-world business insights to the US community beyond the classroom. It was an opportunity for students to ask questions one-on-one with professionals in the field.

The seminar featured a variety of excellent speakers, which included ISP alumni. These speakers were;

  • Stefan Savić, ISP Class of 2009, is the CEO of Biohealing and a leader in the health innovation space. With experience turning cutting-edge biotech into real-world solutions, he’s an inspiring speaker for students curious about entrepreneurship, science, or making an impact through business.
  • William Jalloul, ISP Class of 2009, is the founder of Flowpay, a fintech startup redefining how small businesses manage cash flow. His journey is ideal for anyone interested in tech, startups, or what it takes to turn a vision into reality.
  • Natalie Savić, ISP Class of 2007, is the Managing Director of M Consulting and a seasoned PR executive. With a career that blends communication, leadership, and strategy, she brings real insight into what it means to grow your influence - and your impact - in a fast-moving world.
  • Jan Sýkora is the CEO and partner at Wood & Company, a leading investment firm, and an ISP Trustee. With decades of experience in finance and leadership, he offers sharp, practical advice for students curious about business, economics, or long-term career success.

US Students were very appreciative of this event as they gained great insight into the world of business through the ISP Business Club.

"I didn’t just hear the speakers’ life stories, I also received valuable advice for my future. They emphasised the importance of networking and exploring untapped markets, lessons I can apply to any career path I choose to pursue."

Thanks to volunteers and behind-the-scenes help, students gained first-hand advice on entrepreneurship, finance, technology, public relations, and life beyond school. We are proud to see this seminar become a platform for connection, inspiration, and future careers.
