Celebrating the Class of 2025: Perseverance, Pride, and Possibility

On Saturday, 31 May, the International School of Prague community gathered in the magnificent Žofín Palace to celebrate the Class of 2025, a cohort whose journey through Upper School has been marked by resilience, transformation, and shared commitment to something greater than themselves.

This year’s ceremony honoured the thirty-first graduating class in ISP’s history. Families, faculty, staff and friends came together to recognise not only the academic achievements of these students, but also their integrity, creativity and capacity to lead with purpose.

 

A Journey of Growth and Perseverance

From the start of their Upper School experience, the Class of 2025 has faced complexity and change. They began high school during a time of global uncertainty, adapting quickly to new routines, technologies, and expectations. In the years that followed, they helped shape a re-imagined Student Life Centre, embraced new advisory and curricular structures, and witnessed significant world events, all while showing support for one another and building a strong, inclusive culture.

A Class that Cares and Connects

The ceremony reflected not only celebration, but also deep reflection. Teachers spoke of the students’ empathy and determination. Students honoured their peers, their families, and the teachers who helped shape them.

Entering the World as Changemakers

The Class of 2025 brought curiosity, insight, and leadership to every corner of school life, from the arts and athletics to robotics, student publications, community events and social action initiatives. One teacher remarked, “To my students, you have profoundly changed me and helped me stay true to myself.”

Now, as fresh ISP alumni, these graduates are ready to continue their journey. They leave with the knowledge, friendships, and global perspective to thrive in whatever comes next.
