The International Food Festival: A Celebration of Culture at ISP 2025

Written by Sophie Pinard, ISP Alumna Class of 2022

The International Food Festival is one of the most cherished traditions in the ISP community, bringing together families, students, and neighbours to celebrate the rich diversity of cultures represented at our school.

Thanks to the hard work of the School Community Association (SCA) and many dedicated parent volunteers, this year’s festival was once again a resounding success.

The event transformed the campus into a global village of tastes, sights, and sounds. Parents showcased the cuisines of 26 different countries, from Austria to Vietnam, with vibrantly decorated tables and mouth-watering specialities.

“The International Food Festival is the highlight of the school year and definitely my favourite SCA event. It celebrates the cultural diversity of our community and brings people together to enjoy delicious food, delightful drinks and wonderful music. It truly is a pleasure to be part of this community and work together with all the amazing SCA volunteers.”
Piia Susanna, SCA International Food Festival Parent Organiser

This year, children enjoyed new activities such as face painting, energetic games in the Small Gym, and arts & crafts in the Blue Room. Upper School musicians added to the festive atmosphere by filling the courtyard with live performances, while Aramark, ISP’s new Cafeteria provider, kindly donated a selection of drinks.

The International Food Festival is more than just a culinary celebration - it’s a moment where our community comes together to share traditions, discover new flavours, and strengthen connections.

We look forward to seeing it grow each year, and we encourage everyone to get involved, whether by hosting a table or supporting the SCA in bringing this vibrant event to life.
