Parents in Action: From Winter Wonderland to Middle School Breakfast
Parents are an essential part of our school community, and we offer numerous opportunities for them to get involved on campus.
Our School Community Association (SCA) hosts a variety of events throughout the year, enhancing our children’s school experience. From class parties and special dances to movie nights and community breakfasts, our dedicated team of parents creates memorable moments and fosters a vibrant school spirit.

In our Middle School, one special way we express gratitude to the teachers and students for their hard work throughout the year is through our special Middle School Breakfast. This cherished morning tradition brings everyone together to celebrate the end of the school year, enjoying delicious food as a community. The breakfast is not only a festive conclusion to the academic year but also strengthens the bonds among students and teachers.
We are immensely grateful to the team of SCA parents and the grade-level representatives who dedicate their time and energy to making these incredible events happen. Their commitment and creativity ensure that our school events are memorable and meaningful for everyone involved.
“My favourite event of this school year was the Winter dance. I was instantly inspired to create a snowflake arch. Another mom made all of the snowflakes, and with the help of six amazing moms and people from maintenance, the Landau Theatre and foyer were transformed into a ‘Winter Wonderland!’ Seeing the students dressed to impress and having so much fun was rewarding and priceless! The Middle School Breakfast was also an incredible event, and such a success because of all the parents who donated food and volunteered to help! The students and teachers were so appreciative and happy. That’s all I’m here for. Being a class representative is really about figuring out what the students want and helping them create great memories!”
