Love & Truth: An Unforgettable Evening at the 2025 ISP Gala

The 2025 ISP Gala, held on Saturday, 22 March, brought together our vibrant community for a night of elegance, generosity, and shared purpose. Set against the stunning backdrop of Prague Crossroads, this year’s Gala was inspired by two timeless values that unite humanity: Love & Truth.

 

From the moment guests arrived, it was clear that this would be an extraordinary evening. The venue’s soaring architecture, ambient lighting, and exquisite decor set the stage for a celebration filled with warmth and connection.

Attendees enjoyed a gourmet dinner, musical performances from acclaimed violinist Josek Špaček and renowned singer Marta Jandová, and an energetic dance floor, alongside both Live and Silent Auctions featuring an incredible collection of exclusive experiences and unique items generously donated by our community.

 

 

The Heart of the Gala: Kateřina Sukdoláková’s Inspiring Speech

One of the evening’s most moving moments came when Kateřina Sukdoláková, ISP Scholar and Class of 2011 graduate, took the stage. Sharing her personal journey, she described how receiving a scholarship at ISP transformed her life, giving her the confidence and curiosity to explore new ideas, challenge assumptions, and design her own learning journey.

Kateřina painted a vivid picture of her daily experience as an ISP student, commuting an hour each way - a journey that felt like traveling to a different country. At ISP, she discovered a world bursting with energy, diversity, and opportunity, a place where students from various backgrounds came together to form a welcoming and dynamic community.

She spoke about how this environment allowed her to explore culture and identity in new ways, even within her own country. The ISP community was not just about academics—it was about belonging, self-discovery, and the support of teachers, staff, and fellow students who helped her grow, both personally and intellectually.
