Complex Mathematical thinking in Elementary School: Our Grade 2 students determine different strategies to solve problems of addition. Budding mathematicians use a variety of models to explain their thinking on posters.

ISP students don’t simply add up, but reflect on solutions to previous problems and in many cases spontaneously compare strategies to real-life situations in which a similar mathematical strategy might be used. #learning #wellbeing #belonging
