Elementary School
The Elementary Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) programme is designed with both a proactive and responsive approach, aiming to develop SEL competencies based on the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) framework.

Middle School
In Middle School, the Homeroom (first 15 minutes of everyday) and the Advisory Programmes are designed to help students build supportive relationships with one another and with their advisor, advisory is also a time for socio-emotional learning as students discover more about themselves and how to make responsible decisions. Self-management and social skills are two of the Approaches to Learning skills that students develop across all the IB programmes.
The Advisory programme has been built around five key areas which form part of the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) framework:
- self-awareness
- self-management
- social awareness
- relationships skills
- responsible decision making
Age-appropriate objectives and activities have been designed in each of these five areas drawing upon the work of UNESCO, International Schools Counsellors Association, Common Sense Education, Institute of Positive Education and Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) Association.
Upper School

Learning in Action
When the Rollerblading unit rolls around in the spring, Physical Education is the talk of Elementary School! For many students, this unit is their favourite of the year and an opportunity to build friendships and practice risk-taking in a safe setting.
Each year, ISP hosts the Middle School Football7’s, a tournament that brings together international schools in Prague for a day of inclusive Middle School football fun.
Children love stories, and in ECF 5, storytelling became the focus of dynamic and multi-disciplinary learning experiences that stimulated the imaginations of our young learners.
