ISP Senior Sahil is headed for a career in fashion and business. He was curious about how to use a sewing machine, so he visited the Idea Lab during a free block.
In line with the ISP Learning Principles; Curiosity drives what and how we learn and Learners persist with relevant and rich challenges, in less than an afternoon, he learned to operate a machine, designed, sewed, and finished a tote bag. He returned to the Idea Lab to design and construct an original garment, and he plans to return to use the programmable embroidery machine and other equipment as his ideas and skills develop.
