ISP students and parents compassionate – changemakers teamed up to fundraise for transformational educational opportunities and aid Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic
Uniquely this year, the Gala evening will take place at the Petschek Villa, the US Ambassador’s Residence, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of the American Embassy, which is co-hosting the event. For more information about this magnificent location, read here.
Program Highlights
The Gala Organizing Committee looks forward to welcoming you to this one-of-a-kind event and promises an inspiring and entertaining evening including:
- Musical performances by ISP teachers, parents and students including:
- Suzanne Higgins, one of our own music teachers and professional saxophonist on the Prague jazz scene
- Lawrence Hrubes, IB Theory of Knowledge teacher, who has performed at many events over the years at ISP
- Rising star Upper School student violinist Boha Moon, and a couple of other musical delights
- A live Latin dance band with one of our own ISP alumni
- Scholarship alumna Alžběta Pechačová (class of 2021) currently at Cambridge will share the impact of her scholarship
- Upper School Community Service student presentations on the work they are doing with the Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic
- Cocktail bar from Manifesto, wines from Obelisk winery (Valtice area), beer from Únětický Brewery, and soft drinks by Coca-Cola
- Catering by the US Ambassador’s Residence Chef
- Live auction with Ms. Elizabeth King, Upper School Drama teacher
- “Street Musical Marathon” where parents, including James Cusumano, and teachers will perform/improvise to express their musical and/or vocal talents
Dress code: cocktail-chic (gentlemen in suit and tie, ladies in cocktail evening attire)

Physical tickets are not issued. Once you have purchased your ticket, your names will be added to the guest list. For security reasons, all guests must present photo identification for entry to Petschek Villa.
2022 ISP Gala attendees should be aware that the total price of entry is split into “ticket” and “donation” categories for accounting reasons. This means that of the price of attending the event, 2,650 CZK is classified as a “ticket” or the cost of organising the event, and the remaining is classified as a “donation” towards the ISP Scholarship Fund. The event is organised under the Public Collection Number: S-MHMP/515652/2018, registered with the Prague City Hall (Magistrát hl. m. Prahy).
Auction
The 2022 ISP Auction is now LIVE, and everyone in the ISP community is invited to participate. The auction is open from 25 April, 17:00 – 7 May, 17:00. We are grateful to the Gallery KODL for kindly hosting the auction on the Artslimit platform. There will be no fees or commissions charged.
The auction is great fun, with many one-of-a-kind experiences and unique items available.
We are thankful for the beautiful array of auction items supplied by our ever-generous community of donors. Whether you love travel, adventure, art, sports, learning, health, beauty, or wellness, you will find something special to suit you. You might also enjoy the extra special items offered by ISP community members, such as a private dinner with the Kimballs at their home, making your laser-cut jewelry after hours in the Idea Lab, or choosing an original piece from the fantastic artworks offered by ISP students.
