Prague Crossroads

Prague Crossroads (in Czech: Pražská křižovatka) is an international spiritual centre, established by the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE 97, which also oversees its preservation and management. Located in a long-deconsecrated church originally founded by Saint Wenceslas in 927 AD, it serves as a unique venue for a wide range of cultural and intellectual events.

The concept for Prague Crossroads was inspired by former Czech President Václav Havel, the dissident, playwright, and statesman. Havel envisioned the space as an evocative venue for meetings of all kinds - lectures, discussions, concerts, performances, exhibitions, meditation, and events - aimed at fostering respect for multicultural diversity. Its primary mission is to encourage open, creative dialogue among people of various faiths, convictions, and professions, addressing the pressing issues of our civilisation, the dangers it faces, and the hopes for a better future.
