The International School of Prague (ISP) is a vibrant, future-focused learning community where curiosity is celebrated, compassion is cultivated, and competence is developed through authentic, inquiry-based learning.As I begin my second year as Director of ISP, I do so with a deep sense of gratitude for this remarkable school and community. Having previously served as Deputy Director, I have now had the privilege of spending three years at ISP—years that have strengthened my belief in what makes this school so special and in the extraordinary potential of our students, educators, and community.

ISP is one of Europe’s most progressive international schools—a place where students are empowered to become Curious, Competent, and Compassionate Changemakers. Our mission to Inspire, Engage, and Empower all learners is lived every day, from Early Childhood through Grade 12.

We are proud to offer all four International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes, providing a rigorous and holistic education that supports each student’s academic, social, emotional, and personal growth. But learning at ISP extends far beyond the classroom. Our internationally diverse community is enriched by the culture and history of Prague and brought together by a shared commitment to inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement.

As we look to the future, we are focused on building on ISP’s many strengths while continuing to evolve as a school. Our Strategic Plan lays out a clear vision for ISP’s continued growth and impact. Alongside this, our new Campus Facilities Roadmap represents an ambitious investment in our learning environments, ensuring that our spaces continue to support student success, creativity, collaboration, and well-being.
What excites me most about the year ahead is the opportunity to continue this journey together. ISP is at its best when students, families, educators, and staff learn from one another, challenge assumptions, and imagine what is possible.
