The ISP Senior Leadership Team (SLT), led by the Director, is primarily responsible for aligning all facets of the school to fulfil ISP’s mission and strategic objectives.

Chip is a progressive and experienced leader with a track record of excellence at the school, district, state, national, and international levels. He has led public and private systems, both large and small, with a future orientation and a commitment to improvement, effective change and results. 

Chip started his career as a science teacher and was an early adopter of learning technologies. After serving as District Chief Technology Officer, Area Superintendent, and Deputy Superintendent, was appointed as Superintendent of Lake Washington School District in Washington State, USA, overseeing the education of 30,000 students.

Later, Chip was selected as Superintendent of Singapore American School (4000 students), where he led the most ambitious and challenging reform work of his career, transforming SAS into one of the most progressive and innovative schools in the world. Immediately prior to his appointment as Director of ISP, Chip worked as an executive coach, business consultant and personal finance coach for young people.

Dr. Cal Callaway

Deputy Director

Before coming to ISP, Dr. Cal Callaway, Ed.D, was the Deputy Head of School at the International Community School of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and the Deputy Head of School at the International School of Latvia. Cal has worked in international education for over 22 years as an elementary, middle, and high school teacher before moving into administration in international schools in four countries: the United Kingdom, China, Latvia and Ethiopia.

Sheldon Bradshaw

Director of Educational Technology

Sheldon is from Barrie, Ontario, Canada. After obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he worked in the industry for several years. He then went back to university to obtain another degree in education. He has worked as an Elementary Homeroom teacher, a Math/Science teacher, a Technology Coach and a Technology Director. He worked in Japan, Kuwait, China and Indonesia before coming to Prague.

Petr Draxler

Petr Draxler is a seasoned Human Resources executive with over 30 years of professional experience across diverse industries, including Logistics, Telecommunications, IT, Consulting, Financial Services, and Education. Throughout his professional career, Petr has held both country-level and regional-level roles, reflecting his adaptability and capacity to manage HR functions across different scales and geographical contexts in companies such as DHL, Motorola, IBM, GTS, Fortuna Entertainment Group.

Monica has over 15 years of experience in advancement in world-renowned educational institutions in Singapore. Her experience spans the full advancement spectrum, capital campaigns, major gifts, annual fund, working with volunteers and boards, advancement services, and strategic marketing and communication.

Anthony Hennelly

Activities and Athletics Director

Anthony is a highly regarded and experienced professional with over 16 years of international teaching, administrative and coaching experience from schools in the United Kingdom, Thailand and Belgium. He has also worked in Higher Education Institutions as well as grassroots and professional sports clubs in Europe, South-East Asia and Australisia.

Laura Jo (LJ) Evans

Elementary School Associate Principal

Spanning the continents of Asia, Africa and Europe, Laura Jo (LJ) has been an international educator and leader for 18 years. She began her career in early childhood education and expanded to lead whole-school change through the lens of a constructivist, inclusive approach to learning. LJ has been a contributing author in two publications which focus on building a collaborative school culture where all learners authentically engage in intentionally curated learning environments.

Matthew Woodward

Elementary School Principal

With over 20 years of international experience in education, Matt has dedicated his career to fostering student growth and creating vibrant learning environments. His journey has taken him from the U.S. public school system to dynamic roles in Mexico, Chile, Kenya, and now Prague, Czech Republic. As an Elementary Principal, director of Learning, and Assistant Principal, he has embraced a constructivist framework, emphasizing inquiry-based learning, strong relationships, and student agency. His passion lies in empowering educators and students alike, nurturing curiosity, and promoting a collaborative atmosphere where everyone thrives. Each experience in Matt's international career has enriched his understanding of different cultures and educational practices, allowing him to implement innovative approaches that resonate with learners from all backgrounds.

Dr. Michelle Juhasz-Stevens

Middle School Principal

Michelle is from Brockville, Canada. The field of education has always inspired Michelle. She has taught students in grades 5 through 12 in Biology, General Science, Health, Physical Education, and Outdoor Education. She has been a 6-10 Assistant Principal, and 6-8 Principal. Michelle has held positions in Guatemala City, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Lima, and Munich before coming to Prague. Michelle has over 10 years of experience in the International Baccalaureate and has facilitated many workshops at regional conferences with a focus on building highly functioning teams through middle leadership. Michelle recently completed her EdD in K-12 School Leadership from Western University, London, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Eric Sturm

Upper School Principal

Eric holds a PhD in Educational Leadership, and prior to his arrival in Prague, led the International Academy of Macomb in Michigan, USA since 2012. Previously, Eric worked as a principal, IB Coordinator, and teacher in the USA, Venezuela, Egypt, and Turkey and is an IBDP workshop leader and examiner. Eric helped to write the curriculum for the World Studies Extended Essay pilot project, a unique interdisciplinary opportunity for students to develop their capacity for global consciousness and action. As Faculty of the Future of Learning Institute at Project Zero, Harvard Graduate School of Education from 2012-2016, Eric was a co-developer of design thinking professional development.
