Admissions

Admission is based on the potential of the student to benefit from an ISP education, the capacity of the School, and the desire for balance and diversity in classes.

Acceptance & Placement

The application process is relatively straightforward - please see the pull-down menus below for checklists, FAQ, and links to forms for each section of the School.

While the application process is straightforward, our placement requires some explanation.

We realize that receiving an answer as quickly as possible is of utmost importance. However, our current parents have until the end of March to let us know if they will be returning to ISP. It is only at that point that we know how many spaces will be available in each class. We therefore cannot give confirmation of placement until that time. We realize that this can be inconvenient for many parents, but we hope that you understand the rationale behind the timing.

So, within three weeks of the completed Application packet and Fee being received by the Admissions Office, parents will receive a response from ISP; applications are either approved, rejected, or continued for further review. Please note that an approved application does not guarantee a spot for the child. In early April, class sizes are assessed, and approved applications are placed. Notices of placement are then sent to those students. If a class is full, applications that were approved but not placed are put into a waiting pool (at the request of the parents).
